An award-winning marketer and writer, receiving a first-place Zweig White Marketing Excellence Award for Direct Marketing and a PRSA Richmond Bronze Anvil Award, she has presented at numerous national, state, and regional conferences with dozens of feature articles published in trade and lifestyle publications across the country.

Gould has held dozens of board and committee roles for national, state, and local organizations, including the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) where she served on several national committees and as the President of the Virginia chapter; the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) where she recently served as 2nd Vice President for SAME Fort Bragg; and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) where she served as national awards juror and mentor for several up-and-coming public relations professionals, among multiple other roles in other organizations. She has also served as a Professor at High Point University, West Virginia University, and the Jack Welch Management Institute (JWMI), teaching international marketing, principles of marketing, strategic public relations, and social media marketing strategy.
Gould holds a Master of Science in integrated marketing communications (Summa Cum Laude) from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications and media arts from the University of Arizona.
