SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Sundt Construction recently added two new employee-owners, Stuart Hemm and Sid Fredrickson, in the Intermountain region.

“Stuart and Sid are great additions to our team in the Intermountain Region,” said Area Manager Jasen Bennie. “Their experience and skills will help us as we continue to take on new projects in Utah and Idaho.”

Senior Estimator Hemm will lead estimates for Intermountain-region pursuits for Sundt’s Transportation Group. Prior to joining Sundt, Hemm led an $80 million project scope for a data center in Mesa, Arizona, and a $75 million infrastructure project in Queen Creek, Arizona. Hemm received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Arizona State University.

Field Engineer Fredrickson joins the I-86/I-15 System Interchange Improvements project in Pocatello, Idaho. Fredrickson has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wyoming and a certificate in construction management from Louisiana State University. He is also a certified welder, and most recently, was Head Combo Welder on a $41 million wastewater treatment plant in southern Utah.

Sundt Construction, Inc. specializes in transportation, industrial, building, concrete, and renewable power work and is owned entirely by its approximately 2,000-plus employees. Sundt has 13 offices throughout California, Arizona, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Florida.
